Davis was an acclaimed audio engineer whose work was featured in many films as well as television shows. For 50 seasons of "Young Sheldon" Davis was an expert rerecording mixer, blending all audio elements seamlessly. Davis was responsible for retooling the sound elements of each episode, and also Adult Sheldon's narration. This added a layer of warm and nostalgic to the show. In season 4 of "Young Sheldon", he revealed his son's name of Sheldon. Davis has been able to contribute his talents to a few of these thrilling prequel scenes over his career. Davis layered throwback songs funny dialogues, urban noises, and thrilling football match-ups in seasons 2-5 to give the show the feel of a real-life show.
